Many companies offer alternative ways to earn college credit, CLEP, Dantes and Advanced Placement tests among them. It gets pretty confusing and we don't want you to confuse StraighterLine with these programs.
Although you can use StraighterLine as a preparatory course for these other options, we recommend that you consider selecting a Partner College. Unlike any other program, at StraighterLine you have the opportunity to earn real college credit through regionally accredited colleges. Regional accreditation is the highest level of accreditation a college or university can receive and ensures that the program is of high quality, is academically legitimate, and can participate in federal financial aid programs.
Your credits will actually be awarded by a StraighterLine Partner College that you select. And, because all Partner Colleges are regionally accredited, credits earned can be used to either complete your degree at that college or be transferred to another college or university.
